Amateur Photography Magazine Cityscape competition
10th May 2015

Nice to hear from Amateur Photography Magazine that my Newcastle Light Painting shot was a regional winner in their competition sponsored by Beframeus and that they've asked for more. A digital exhibition display is up on the big screens all main stations, Kings x, Euston, Lpool St, York, Manchester, Newcastle etc also in the big shopping malls nationally. Its a revolving slideshow of all the regional winners that keeps rolling throughout the month of May.
"The standard of entries was exceptionally high, and we look forward to seeing the work across our screens.”
The editor Amateur Photographer, Nigel Atherton, said: “Our readers are passionate about photography and this amazing showcase has given them a unique chance to see their work and their name made famous on big screens nationwide.
“Their pictures capture the vibrancy of life in the city and the power of the camera to tell stories that are relevant to us all. These pictures have it all – by turns heartwarming, stylish, edgy and dramatic.”

I would have liked if I'd known in time to have credits shown for "partners in crime" my friends Iain Hobbs, the Light Painting engineer maestro and Allan England for his wafting of the force be with you light wand...
