It was lovely to see my "Blue Peace Yonder" shot of the approach to Holy island being chosen as the lead in photo first page of the Northumberland visitor guide 2015. The evening on which it was taken was one many could enjoy - and really embodied the deep spiritual peace with which the island is embued despite it's so active history.
The tide was lapping the edges of the causeway and a deep blue cloud blanket was mirrored in the still seas. A moment once the shot was taken, just to stand and take in. Something special is our Lindisfarne! then p13 further in a light-painted shot too of the iconic upturned boat under Orion@s belt in our famous dark skies.
